our valentine's day stay in kintamani was amazing. bintang house exceeded our expectations with their friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and perfect location for hiking mount batur. we even had a lovely outdoor bathroom that added to the charm.

I couldn't believe the value for money at Bintang House! The room was cosy and elegant, with a unique outside/inside bathroom. The location was perfect for starting the Mount Batur track, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
The breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

The host was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist with arrangements. She even did our washing overnight and arranged for a personal guide for our sunrise trek. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely outdoor bathroom. The location was perfect for the hike as it was right at the foot of the mountain.
The general area has become overrun with tourists and the locals have become somewhat unfriendly. The pollution and erosion in the area, particularly in the mountains, is quite sad to see.
